Training programs and workshops targeting financial literacy are some of our ways to build a sustainable community. As we work on expanding networks within and outside the community and empowering women in financial decision-making, we aim to expand opportunities by introducing innovative ways in making education available for all.
EDUCATION
DISASTER RISK REDUCTION
Since the 2004 tsunami, there has been a major natural disaster every month in Indonesia. Increasing focus is being placed on ex ante preparedness to reduce vulnerability and prevent loss of life and resources.
Our carefully developed DRR programs put disaster preparedness in the spotlight and work alongside communities to minimise disaster risk.
The Covid-19 pandemic and the increasing impacts of climate change have further highlighted the vulnerability of livelihoods throughout Indonesia.
We are providing holistic solutions through education, training, protection and finance for SMEs, smallholder farmers, artisanal fishermen, aquacultural communities, factory workers and more, to strengthen and stabilize household income.
